Precision cardan joints

KTR Cardan shaft couplings, torsionally rigid, use the cardan cross to transmit motion. Ideal for applications with high parallel and angular misalignment between shafts, these joints are available in two series: the G series with plain bearings and the H series with roller bearings. The H series requires no lubrication or maintenance due to permanently lubricated bearings. For low-speed applications (max. 1,000 RPM), G series joints are more suitable, as they absorb shock loads and high torques. For high-speed, low-torque, alternating operation, or large deflection angles, the H series is the best choice, supporting up to 4,000 RPM and deflection angles of up to 45° for single joints and 90° for double joints.
